Shotstand terms of use

The agreement is with us, not Apple

Shotstand is distributed through Apple's App Store, but this agreement is between you and the developer of Shotstand, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app, is not responsible for any product claims relating to it (defects, failure to meet advertised specifications, or anything similar), and is not responsible for addressing any of your claims or a third party's claims relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection law. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this agreement and, once you accept these terms, has the right to enforce it against you.

Using the app

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Shotstand on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code except where the law explicitly allows it, and not to use the app for anything unlawful.

Your images and what you make

The screenshots, photos, and words you put into Shotstand stay yours, and so do the images you make with it. You're responsible for having the right to use what you add, including other people's apps, logos, or photos. The device frames are drawn by the app itself; they're illustrations, not Apple artwork, and Shotstand isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. Following the App Store's own rules for screenshots (accurate depictions of your app, the sizes it accepts) is up to you; Shotstand's checks are a help, not a guarantee that a listing will be approved.

Shotstand Premium

Shotstand is free to use. Shotstand Premium is an optional, one-time in-app purchase (a non-consumable, not a subscription) at the price shown in the app before you buy. It unlocks the Premium features on every device signed in to the same Apple Account.

• Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details.
• Restoring. On a new device or after reinstalling, tap Restore purchase in the app to get Premium back at no charge.
• Refunds. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, Premium features lock again; sets you already made keep what they have.
• What's included. The features listed in the app's Premium screen at the time you buy. A feature you already have won't be moved behind a second purchase.

No warranty

Shotstand is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee it will work without interruption or be free of errors, or that images made with it will be accepted by App Store review. Nothing here limits any warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to disclaim.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including lost work or a rejected listing. This does not limit liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Third-party terms

Your use of the app must also comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and Usage Rules.

Export compliance

You agree not to use or export the app in violation of any applicable export laws or regulations.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date above changes with them. Shotstand has no account and no way to reach you, so this page is where any update appears.
