Nothing is blocking, on any site

This is almost always the browser's permission, not a problem with your settings. Installing the extension is only half of it: the browser also has to be told the extension may run on pages.

On iPhone or iPad: open Settings, then Apps, then Safari, then Extensions. Tap "Not Yet" and turn it on. Tap Website Access and set it to "All Websites."

On Mac (Safari): open Safari, then Safari > Settings > Extensions. Tick "Not Yet," then set its website access to "Always Allow on Every Website."

On Chrome: open Chrome's Extensions page (chrome://extensions), find Not Yet, and make sure it's enabled and allowed to run on all sites.

Until that's done, the settings and onboarding screens will look perfectly configured while nothing ever blocks, because those pages run in their own context and don't need site permission.

Nothing blocks in a Private Browsing or Incognito window

This is a browser rule, not a Not Yet setting, and it applies to every extension, not just this one. Safari and Chrome both keep extensions out of a private window by default until you turn that on yourself, for that extension specifically.

Safari: Settings, then Extensions, then Not Yet, then turn on "Allow in Private Browsing."

One particular site isn't handled right

A site that should pause and doesn't, a site that pauses when it shouldn't, an amount that fills in wrong, or a shield sitting over the wrong button. There are a great many checkout pages on the internet and no set of rules catches every one of them.

The app has a built-in report form: open Not Yet's settings, go to Setup & help, and use "Report a site that isn't working right." It opens a pre-filled email draft in your own mail app. Nothing is sent automatically, and nothing about your browsing is attached beyond what you type.

An update doesn't seem to have applied

Browsers can keep running a previously loaded copy of an extension. Turn Not Yet off and on again in your browser's extension settings, or fully quit and reopen the browser. The build number at the very bottom of Not Yet's settings page tells you which version is actually running.

Subscriptions and purchases (Safari)

Not Yet's core blocking is free and stays free, on both Safari and Chrome. A subscription or the one-time lifetime purchase, available on Safari only, unlocks the extra features, and the lifetime purchase includes every Premium feature added later.

Restoring a purchase: open the Not Yet app and use "Restore Purchases." This is the right step on a new device, or after reinstalling.

Managing or cancelling a subscription: this is handled by Apple, not by us. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings. You can also use apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue them ourselves.

If you turn on Guard Mode and your subscription later ends, Guard Mode stays on. Your protection is never removed because of a payment, and your own PIN always opens it.

Forgotten PIN

Not Yet's settings include a master reset. It asks you to retype a long generated code, then clears every setting and starts you over at setup. It's deliberately harder than the PIN itself, because it exists for genuinely being locked out rather than as a quick way around your own protection.

Your data

Not Yet has no server and collects nothing. Everything it remembers, including any photos you add to your quiet place, stays on your own device. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
